Biography

This blog is by Bill White, a long time poster in the comments sections of other people's blogs.

I became a space advocate in 1998 after a trip to Disney World (heh!) which included a side trip to watch the launch of STS-95. A few days later we did the NASA tourist thing and at the end of the day my wife and daughter spent an hour in the gift shop buying NASA pajamas and freeze dried strawberries and refrigerator magnets.

Me? I bought and read Zubrin's "Case for Mars" and I was hooked.

Ever since, I have been reading just about everything I can on space exploration and today my sympathies are most closely aligned with the Space Frontier Foundation although I will always have a strong emotional attachment to the ideas of Robert Zubrin.

This blog will slowly fill up as I have time although I intend fewer, longer pieces more spread out that the usual blog format. There are too many good bloggers covering space news like a blanket for me to even dream of trying to compete.
